First, second and third placed horses/ponies in the following classes . . . will qualify for the Champion of Britain Title classes to be held at the Royal London Show in 2010. Each qualified horse/pony will receive a qualification card in the ring which will enable the owner to enter the Royal London Show, provided the owner and rider/handler are, or become registered with the International Showing Society within 28 days of the qualifying show. RING 1 9.30am SHOWJUMPING
The Showjumping Ring will be open from 9.30 – 10.30am as a minimus ring. Anyone wishing to enter can pay £2 at the gate to enter.
Accumulator – For the Nervous & Novice
Open to LR, FR, Ponies & Horses, 10 Fences max height 50cms Joker Fence 55cms – If Joker fence is jumped points either Double or Nothing if knocked down.
The Accumulator
Open to Horses & Ponies, 10 Fences 2 x 55cms, 2 x 65cms, 2 x 75cms, 2 x 85cms & 2 x 95cms Competitiors may choose to jump the Joker fence instead of fence 10 – this incurs Double or No points if it is knocked down
Points System for Accumulator Classes
1 point for obstacle No. 1 not knocked down, 2 points for obstacle No. 2, 3 points for obstacle No. 3 etc – If Competitor chooses to jump Joker Fence points either Double or Nothing if knocked down.
No points are awarded for obstacle knock down, or refusal, after refusals at a fence competitor must move on to next obstacle.
In the event of equal points there will be a jump-off against the clock over a shortened course of 5 fences.
Speed Round
Open to Horses & Ponies, 10 Fences 75cms max, I round against the clock. Knock downs and refusals incur 4 faults, 3 refusals will incur elimination.
Swap Crop Pairs
Open to LR, FR Horses & Ponies, 1st competitor jumps fences 1-5 max 55cms, 2nd competitor jumps fences 6-10 max 65cms
Puissance
Open to Horses & Ponies, 2 Fences, 1 x Spread and The Wall, competitors jump both obstacles up to a max of 3 rounds, obstacles getting wider & higher each round. After 3 rounds only The Wall to be jumped – Highest wins!
